Cómo se desarrollan las modificaciones para los juegos de Unity. Parte 1: entrar en el código del juego

La mayoría de los juegos no tienen soporte de mod oficial, pero constantemente hay noticias sobre cómo los modders agregan algo nuevo a los juegos. Por lo general, estamos hablando de reemplazar modelos, texturas o música , pero también hay nuevas mecánicas de juego completas, es decir, los modders están incrustados en el código del juego y cambian la lógica interna.


Juego Beat Saber con mods bastante, y en algún momento se hizo necesario escribir el mío. Beat Saber está hecho en Unity, así que profundicé en su código, el código de las modificaciones existentes, descubrí cómo funciona todo allí y escribí un artículo al respecto. Resultó bastante material, así que lo dividí en dos partes. En esta parte, consideraremos qué métodos se utilizan para hacer que el juego inicie modificaciones de terceros: modificar las bibliotecas del juego y el motor en sí, falsificar direcciones en la tabla de importación de archivos dll e interferir con la carga de Mono Runtime.
