El proceso de migración a menudo es una tarea difícil, especialmente cuando la cantidad de información que necesita ser transferida es tan grande que se vuelve más rentable automatizarla. Fue la necesidad de migrar de Gitolite a GitLab lo que me llevó a escribir un artículo sobre mi experiencia en este asunto.

Para la migración de repositorios, usaré una computadora con el sistema operativo CentOS 7. Instalado, necesito instalar el siguiente conjunto de aplicaciones: git, ssh-agent, curl, jq, xargs .
Para comenzar, necesitamos obtener la clave de acceso a la API de GitLab. En la interfaz web, vaya a la sección de configuración del usuario. A continuación, seleccione el elemento de menú "Tokens de acceso" . En el formulario que se abre, debe especificar el nombre de la clave recibida, y también puede especificar el período durante el cual la clave estará activa. A continuación, marque la casilla junto al elemento de la API y haga clic en el botón "Crear token de acceso personal" . Esta clave se usará al enviar solicitudes a la API de GitLab.
