We released the Snom D335, a VoIP desk phone with a built-in proximity sensor!

We are pleased to announce the release of the new Snom D335 VoIP desk phone. The Snom D335 is a multi-faceted project phone with many features at an attractive price. D335 is already available in our warehouse in Berlin and will soon appear in the warehouses of our partners in Russia and the CIS.

By releasing the Snom D335, we fulfill the desire often expressed by our partners, namely to integrate many of the Snom D735 functions into the D3xx series phone. The result took some time, but this makes it even more attractive.

The D335 is the younger brother of the D385, our flagship D3xx series. It features a high resolution TFT color display surrounded by 8 physical (32 virtual), freely programmable function keys. Moreover, thanks to the built-in DSP processor, it offers HD sound.

But the real feature of the device is the built-in smart proximity sensor, which can be used to control the user interface of the phone:

When the user's hand approaches the telephone display or function keys, the display automatically switches and displays all the necessary information of the assigned keys. This allows you to display even more information on the display.
