Honestly, I didn’t even read the full text of this message - I have enough Nigerians. I safely forgot about this letter. Then I needed to extend the Secondary M service, for which RU-Center had the requested 300 r.

On May 8, a letter came with the headline “Renew the Personal Manager service.” Again missed this spam without reading.

On May 12, this letter came again, and here I was worried - what kind of service I did not subscribe to.

It was not in vain that I was worried - it turned out that the amount for the extension of “Secondary M” was never written off, the service was not renewed and now it will not work, because only 201 r is available:



The amount of 99 r, it turns out, is blocked on the “Personal Manager” and turned off it is not possible here:



After wandering around the menu, I still manage to find an interface where you can turn off auto-renewal.



We remove the checkmark, "Apply" ... and nothing happens, on the balance as it was 201r, it remains. We are waiting for 10 minutes (suddenly what pending actions), but the balance still does not change.

Here we are already starting to write technical support. They answered, I have to admit, quickly. They refused to remove the service, they said, "turn off auto-renewal, the cancellation of the service will be done automatically." To the next letter that this does not work, the answer is “Refund occurs within a few minutes after refusing to renew.”

By this moment, fortunately, the blocked amount from this service really returned to the general balance.

Then there was a correspondence, with an attempt to get a clear answer, on what basis the paid service was added without my consent. I got a terrific answer: “The connection of the Personal Manager service within the framework of the campaign of the same name was carried out in accordance with the rules of this campaign.

To the question, on the basis of which clause of the Agreement - “The possibility of holding shares is provided for in paragraph 4.9 of the Agreement.”

We look at the text of the contract:
4.9. The Contractor has the right to carry out temporary actions, including actions to reduce the cost of services provided. The procedure for holding such shares and the procedure for notifying the Customer are determined by the Rules for holding the relevant shares published on the Contractor's web server.

That is, RU-Center believes that if you have an opportunity to hold shares in the contract, then it can quietly add a paid service to you. And you must see it and refuse in time. Ingenious. Very reminiscent of a joke about a car service and the item "Hire".

I suspect that this "promotion" is not added to everyone, but only for accounts on a legal entity. On another account, this did not happen. But in any case, if you are a RU-Center client, you better check it out.
