For many people, originally from the USSR, from those who were interested in computers, the appearance of the first computer was remembered for a lifetime. I was no exception. Here I will tell my story.
I had a Mikrosh computer in my childhood. This is such a small Soviet household computer, proudly referred to as a personal computer: a personal electronic computer. In our city, computers rarely appeared on sale. The only place where sometimes you could see at least some computer on the counter was the local workshop shop. This point of sale was always deserted, and looked something like this:

Severe aunties in bathrobes who at the time of purchase could professionally ask you a question you didnβt know the answer to and shrug your hands: what customers do we have to work with! Why did you even come here? Solid, but outdated at the time of designing forms of electronic devices, characteristic of the late Soviet era. Rarely placed small items under a glass counter with screen-printed price tags. High ceilings and the echo of a half-empty room. All this was fully present, according to unwritten canons.

Therefore, when they ask me: βHow did you suffer with all this junk?β, I reply: we did not suffer! We sailed in a stream of technology, and we feel great in today. What we all want!
