On Tuesday, April 28th, we hosted the first introductory webinar of the Slerm Evening School on Agile. 1700 people registered for the course. The course is open and completely free - we decided to help managers, business owners and scrum masters in this difficult time.
We have done what we have never tried before. We managed to create a course in 1 week - to come up with an idea, test a hypothesis, find value for participants, prepare a program, improve it several times, choose equipment and tools for convenient broadcasting and close interaction with participants. Yet Agile, in the first place, is teamwork, even if everyone is sitting in self-isolation.
We set a goal - it will be online, as offline. Dialogue with speakers, conversations in the “hall”, exchange of experience, humor to defuse the working atmosphere, mutual assistance, drive team work.
At the first webinar, we examined the advantages of Agile during the crisis. The teachers showed on examples of Russian and foreign companies how Agil can help in a situation of uncertainty and economic recession - and shared practical experience and advice.
What to expect from the course?
Slurm's evening school on Agile is designed for 1.5 months - classes 2 times a week, on Tuesday and Thursday. The course program can be found on the website .
