Anti-crisis section of Habr

Did you know that if you click on the Habré hotkey “/” and enter the query in square brackets, then only the keywords will work? For example, more than 170 posts have already been written with the [covid-19] tag - only by this number alone we can conclude that the topic of the virus excites our readers. But you can discuss it for a long time and from different angles, but the fact remains: the time is not easy now, you need to somehow spin.

“ Hmm, but we have a lot of partner companies, and not only from the IT sphere! "- we thought ... and launched a new section on the site in which each of you can find something useful. 

It is one thing when some of the companies insert their special offers into blog posts, another thing is when they are all gathered in one place. 

We decided to make such a place and called it “ Habr Promo ” - as you might already have guessed, special offers are aggregated there. The section was created in partnership with the Promokodus service - at the moment there are already more than 6000 (!) Companies, many of which have several offers. All this is divided into more than 20 categories: from IT (and around IT) to sports, clothing and food.

You can use the search, or simply select the desired category → company → offer → read the description → “erase the protective layer” → follow the further instructions. 

In most cases, this is entering a code word on the service page (accompanying tips are in the description of each offer). There are no restrictions on the number of uses of codes in the section.

The question involuntarily begs - what is the catch? On the one hand, it’s good that our readers can think critically and ask this question, on the other hand, do you remember that we at least once did something with a catch? :) No pitfalls, here is a three-way win-win:

• Habr users receive a discount on goods or services
• Companies receive new customers (from the paragraph above)
• We feel good for satisfied users and companies.
