Where to find freelance that will be fun? (Spoiler: not Upwork)

In the 2000s, “entrepreneurship” was the word of a decade when adults, regardless of age, discovered the world of remote work. This step brought a sense of freedom in the lives of many people, and its influence does not lose its strength today.

Now there is a shift in working culture. The Covid-19 pandemic closed many people at home , so now most of them are turning to freelance in order to get additional income in times of unpredictable situations in the global economy.

Now “freelance” is becoming a new trend. And as many begin to look closely at him, the first question that arises is: “Where can I find good suggestions for remote work?”

Before I share my favorite freelance communities, sites and resources, it is important to note that the first steps in the field of freelance are accompanied by a lot of difficulties. The entry barrier may be low, but you are not guaranteed insurance or other benefits that apply to traditional work from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It may also take years (or months if you are determined) to create a professional reputation for yourself when freelance and distance projects come to you on their own.

The good news is that you can start building a freelancer career right now with the skills you have. The richer your experience in the profession or in a separate niche, the easier it will be for you to find a job that brings pleasure.

Question: where to look for a good remote work?

The most popular freelance search resources, I'll call them The Big Three: Upwork, Fiverr and Toptal. You could ask your freelancer friend for advice or look for “sites for freelancers” on Google, and these sites definitely caught your eye.
