The eighth Russian PyCon will be held on September 3-4, 12 km from Moscow. We are looking for useful topics for the community and people who have something to say.
Last year, the most interesting reports were:
- Andrey Vlasovskikh, JetBrains - What will happen in Python 3.8 and what will not;
- Raymond Hettinger - Build powerful, new data structures with Python's abstract base classes;
- Grigory Bakunov, Yandex - On oddities and import'e.
Just look at these enthusiastic faces of the audience in the hall.

The reports, by the way, can be viewed here :)
Formats for participation at PyCon Russia 2020
The PyConRu program consists of keynotes, reports, workshops and Lightning Talks.
- Keynote - 60-minute long report on the future and present of the language.
- Report - a traditional report for 30-40 minutes.
- Master class - 1.5-2 hours of work on a task or topic in order to learn something. The master class consists of theoretical and practical parts. This is the format with the most comprehensive coverage of the topic.
- Lightning Talks - five minute reports from everyone.
This year we want to introduce another format - sprints. Sprint is a format for many hours of training and work on an open source project, together with the author of the project and other participants.
