What, for example, do designers in construction (engineering networks) who, as a result of their labor, also see a “set of files”? As a rule, this is "the old fashioned way": files on the "server", flash drives, mail or file hosting, and discussion - at meetings, by phone and by email. If contractors are still involved, then by the end of work everything is slowly slipping into chaos: important letters are skipped, requests do not reach, etc. Therefore, the failure to meet deadlines due to uncoordinated work is a common thing, and it seems everyone has come to terms with this.

What if you combine a file server, task management system and correspondence in one place? Moreover, the tasks set directly to files and folders. So we did in our diskussion service.

Only tasks, a list of users and correspondence are stored in the service, and Yandex.Disk is used to store files. Since recently Yandex has not welcomed the use of Yandex.Disk except for personal needs, it is planned to add other storage methods, for example, Google Drive or the general contractor’s SFTP / FTPS server.
Instead of a conclusion
At the moment there are products on the market that solve similar problems, such as Oracle ConjectPM and Autodesk BIM 360 Document Managment, which in fact not every general contractor can afford. Our service is at the MVP stage and we would be grateful for tips on what can be improved and added.
