How I first streamed a university lecture

Coronavirus makes its own adjustments to student life, but while universities decide what to do and how to switch to distance learning, the progressive part of the teaching staff must take matters into their own hands. So I decided that I would not wait for my alma mater to figure out what to do, but decided to instantly transfer the lectures to remote mode.

Today was the first lesson and it was decent. Now I’ll tell you how I did it.

TLDR: A bunch of laptop + tablet with pen + Zoom is quite enough. But there are nuances.

1. Lecture format and TK for solution

I work in various places and, among other things, I am a full-time teacher at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute . There I conduct regular classes, unlike, for example, MIPT, where I perform only the role of supervisor. Like any self-respecting teacher, I conduct disciplines in which I am not a specialist, and graduate students fill the lack of my competence. In general, the adventures of the current IT specialist who wants to be useful for young people and engage in teaching within the framework of the traditional educational system are quite funny and somehow I will write a separate post about them.
