“Explain Every Line” - live video game development

Pony programmer at work, realizing in the picture his name is Erlang

Uh, gay! Who wants to know how video games are made? Okay, I'm getting it. Well, where, where, and then the audience should be in the know. However, how about seeing the process of creating a game? Completely. From the first to the last line. ALL. Generally EVERYTHING. Not just to see, even participate, if you really want to. This magic horse in the picture will lead you to a playlist on YouTube showing how to make a video game.

So, I invite everyone to my channel on YouTube , where I sit down and figuha two or three times a week. Figuha code. Figuy assets. Figo JSON, which describes all the information about these assets. All my work is in the public domain. You can see, you can play, you can join, if you suddenly really want to. Unique opportunity! At least, I have not seen other idiots ready to do this. There under the cut, more information.

And the next paragraph, please read the voice of Ray Liotta.

As I recall myself, I always wanted to be a video game developer. For me, the developer was much higher than the President of the Republic of Belarus. Even before I first typed the QBasic code, I wanted to belong to them. It was at that moment that I understood everything. This meant for me to go into the creators of the insignificance of this environment.

A year ago , this project was launched , which is called "I explain every line."

Initially, “I explain every line” was supposed to be educational. I make a video game, and along the way I explain what I do. The first thirty streams the way it was. And then things ended that I can explain, and quite a working routine began.

But of these things, three artifacts, three articles, three keys, which opened to me access to the Habr's advertising board, were shackled .

Now about the game itself. I make a twin-stick shooter where you just need to go through the level from end to end, breaking all the enemy robots into bolts. Robots, because they are easier to draw. And all this is in retro-style, because what other way does the one who does not know how to draw at all?

I suspect I'm not very good at advertising, so feel free to ask your questions about this streamer art house. And feel free to go to your dream. Even if you don’t know how to draw at all.
