Search for employees and job search: my view from inside and outside

It so happened that I was involved in the search for a new team based on a total of twenty people. And then a year later, she herself began looking for work in the labor market and passed about a dozen interviews. I want to share my experience in finding employees and participating in the competition in the candidate market.

I’ll note right away that I am not a professional HR recruiter and not a psychologist, but on the client’s order I was engaged in the selection and primary training of a team whose specialists worked in several cities of the Russian Federation. The experience on the “other side of the barricades” was obtained in such lessons for me.

  • Any contact with the employer may be the first and last, depending on what you say or not say. I conducted job interviews where constant communication with people was supposed and it was important to maintain a positive emotional contact. And when the interviewee in the third minute of the conversation said “b *** b” to such a position, then, consider, for me the conversation was over, even though he apologized. If a person has such a culture of speech, then he will not be able to constantly control it in client work. Although I do not deny that he is suitable for any other place where communication is not a key aspect of the work.

In this regard, for me was a great example of a company that conducted me through five interviews and in total with whom I talked for a month. But at each stage, the timing of the response and the next steps were immediately stipulated, you could always write to the recruiter and clarify your status. Such attention and compliance are bribing. At least me.
