For us, children of the 70-80s, the books of Ray Bradbury were a beacon of humanity and hope that even the darkest future would someday end and the dawn would begin.
In the West, much has changed in recent years, and dealers have come to replace the humanist sci-fi. Now Bill Gates, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are broadcasting the future.
I decided to turn to the topic of the future thanks to the knowledge of the intellectual and humanist Anatoly Alexandrovich Wasserman, whose predictions came true with high accuracy. Let us see how our Russian view of the coming decades and centuries differs from the appetites and desires of the Western world.
